Attention! Students sitting the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination for the year 2020 will be released on next Thursday (10 June), as announced by the Ministry of Education Examination Board’s Examination director Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali.
He said that schools will be able to download and print the certificate of their students before 10 a.m. next Thursday through the Online Examination Management System (SPPAT).
However, he noted that schools will not be accessible during the Full Movement Control Order (MCO) and students are now able to get their examination results either online or through SMS.
Unfortunately for those who do not have access to both the Internet and SMS, these students will need to wait for their schools to inform them the results.
“For schools and private candidates who do not have good internet access, the District Education Office will download the school’s SPM 2020 results, or help private candidates get the examination results,” he said to Bernama.
In the statement released by the Ministry of Education (MOE) on Facebook, students will be able to obtain their results through the following methods.
- Visit the official website at myresult1.moe.gov.my or myresult2.moe.gov.my; or
- Through SMS by typing SPM<space>MyKad number<space>roll number to 68886.
The service will only be available starting 10 a.m. on 10 June and will end on 6 p.m. on 17 June.
Meanwhile, students who wish to appeal their SPM 2020 results can apply through the website MOE had prepared. This is to reduce the need to visit the State Education Department or District Education Office, and as an initiative to curb the Covid-19 spread in Malaysia.
Students who sat for the examination, we wish you luck!
