In the recent broadcast from our Prime Minister Muhyiddin about reimposing Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia, students sitting the national exams are required to return to school to continue their studies.
Returning to school when Covid-19 cases are reaching new heights daily can be worrisome. However, education is a necessity and it is important for students to graduate and continue with their journey.
Hence, strict SOPs had been introduced by Ministry of Education (MOE) to ensure that students can enjoy the privilege of education and stay safe at the same time. MOE had been releasing the statements and SOPs on their Facebook page frequently to keep the public up-to-date.
In the statement by MOE, they have clarified that the students whom will be taking these examinations in year 2021 will be required to return to school and this applies to those who are supposed to take the exam in year 2020 too.

- Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

The good news is, the remaining students will be studying at home via the online lessons (PdPR).
At the same time, registered kindergartens will be allowed to operate as usual.
