Plot Twist: Burger Vendor fined 50k allegedly lives a Lavish Life

Unexpectedly, the burger vendor who was fined RM50,000 previously wasn’t as innocent as it seemed.

When the burger vendor was issued a compound of RM50,000 by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Malaysians were furious about the double standard in SOP implementation. Netizens were furious about how can the authorities issue such a hefty fine on it’s netizens, especially when they are just making ends meet.

After the incident went viral, TV host-entrepreneur, Neelofa even step in to offer assistance to settle the fine for him. However, it seems that there were some unexpected development in the burger vendor’s story.

Netizens have been digging into his background and history and they’ve found that it isn’t the first time he was fined. He had been fined for RM1,000 previously. In addition to that, he allegedly operate his stall till 1 or 2 a.m. during the first and second Movement Control Order (MCO). Netizens found that his house would become a “lepak port” and is filled with decent cars.

A netizen even revealed a Facebook comment from him saying that his stall would be open till 4 a.m. Looking at the timestamp of the screenshot, it suggests that it is when Kelantan is still under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

Furthermore, netizens even found that he allegedly lives a very lavish life and would probably have no problem in settling the compound.

Responding to the allegations, the burger vendor took it to Facebook and commented.

“Only people who knows us, know our story. The issue now is that small businessmen like me get fined RM50K. I bought my car before Covid-19 hit. If I knew the pandemic was coming, I wouldn’t have bought my car at all!”
