Don’t miss the opportunity as the Mini Cooper and Subaru Impreza luxury vehicles are among the vehicles to be auctioned by the State Road Transport Department (JPJ).
It is understood that JPJ Melaka aims to collect RM1.5 million from the vehicle auction which will be held in early September.
Its director, Muhammad Firdaus Shariff, said the auction involved 46 vehicles including Mini Cooper and Subaru Impreza.
He said the quotation will be open for two weeks from September 6 to 20 and the form can be uploaded via Facebook and also the JPJ website.
“This auction is made through quotations and we expect about 60 members of the public to bid for the vehicle with a value between RM2,500 to RM10,000.
“As a result, we aim to get about RM 1.5 million. However, no motorcycles will be auctioned this time and all the vehicles auctioned can be registered,” he said after inspecting the drive-thru counter at the state JPJ headquarters in Bukit Katil here, earlier.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Firdaus said, to avoid congestion when the public deals with him, a drive -through counter was opened by JPJ Melaka which operates seven days a week.
“The drive-through counter does not require any appointment and the public can be present for various matters such as vehicle license renewal, driving license and road tax including summons fees.
“These counters also facilitate our customers who use the online system who only need to attend and take prints such as licenses,” he said.
He said the initiative was done in line with the new norms as well as to ensure the safety of the public.
