Government Looking To Ease Movement Control For Those Who Received 2 Jabs of Covid-19 Vaccine

At the press conference of Prihatin food basket programme earlier today, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stated that the government is considering to relax the movement restrictions for those who have already received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

The ease of the movement restrictions include allowing them to travel or dine-in at the restaurant as part of the national recovery plan. Also to show that while we’re battling with the pandemic, we can gradually return to normal life.

Meanwhile, the national recovery plan will take effect until the end of this year. Prime Minister encourages the rakyat to be patient and confident that we can win this battle.

Muhyiddin also added that the national vaccination programme is a “light at the end of the tunnel” in the battle against the virus.

“We managed to vaccinate over 421,000 people in a day, and hopefully this can be maintained. Now, our focus is the greater Klang Valley. Through our targeted measures, we can deal with the Covid-19 infections better.”
