There had been an increased in cases of sexual harassment being reported recently.
A few days back, it was reported that a saleswoman had her finger forcefully sucked by a man in military uniform in a vape shop in Taman Keramat, Selangor.
According to the latest development, the suspect was indeed a personnel from the Malaysian Army and he was being detained by the police to assist in the investigation.
Nonetheless, the latest sexual harassment incident took place at a workplace where the co-worker had allegedly kissed a woman on her head.
The incident was taken to Twitter by the victim, who urge all netizens to make her case viral and create an awareness of it.
In the series of tweet, the victim explained that it was the second time that the co-worker had been doing this and obviously she is not comfortable with it.
She added that after her co-worker kissed her head, he allegedly handed over a RM50 note as a compensation and to shut her mouth.
Following which, she decide to lodge a police report after consulting her boyfriend and his father. However, she said that the police had not taken the case seriously and it was left quiet since then.
Meanwhile, she also told the other co-workers of this incident but one of them allegedly said that the act of kissing one on the head is just spreading love, adding that there are no grounds to for her to make a police report.
“If he touched your genitals, then you lodge a police report.” her other co-worker said.
The victim added that she finds it disgusting after the co-worker who allegedly kissed her, handed her the RM50 note as he was guilty after the incident.
