Malaysia recorded new Covid-19 cases of over 11,000 for 2 consecutive days (13, 14 July) and Malaysians had been disappointed over the policies we have in place to curb the Covid-19 spread.
What’s more disheartening is that the Federal Territory Religious Department (JAWI) had on Monday (12 July) reported that the youngest victim of Covid-19 they have on their list is a 8 month-old baby.
They took the unfortunate news to Facebook and they captioned “We are saddened when we receive the remains of the youngest Covid-19 victim, a 38-week-old baby boy, for the first time at the Raudhatul Sakinah Islamic Cemetery KL-Karak, Taman Selaseh.”
The poor infant only made it to 38 weeks of living, while JAWI wish that his family members to be blessed by God and this little boy is now waiting for their parents in heaven.
The situation did not end there. JAWI mentioned that his mother who is warded in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is still in critical condition. Apart from that, the father and his other 8 siblings are left quarantine at home.
In the comment section, netizens expressed their condolences and prayers for the family and wish that they all get well soon.
With the virus in our community, it is best to stay at home and only go out when it is absolutely necessary.
