According to the Rumah Selangorku 3.0 incentive plan, the Selangor State Government says it would aim to build up to 60,000 homes by 2025.

In case you were unaware, Rumah Selangorku is a housing programme run by the State Government with the goal of providing eligible residents with cheap homes.

The new policy went into force on January 3, according to Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who spoke to BERNAMA. In addition, the Rumah Selangorku 3.0 offered a new policy upgrade created by the state government by taking into account several factors including development zones and components, development control, and enforcement.

Amirudin asserted, “What is interesting about the Rumah Selangorku 3.0 incentive is that it offers a choice of units based on needs, namely for bachelors which are solo (one room) while for married people the duo (two rooms), trio and quad (three rooms) type.”

At the handover of 30 units of the Smart Rent Scheme for the Rumah Selangorku Kemuning Idaman project in Klang earlier today, as well as the handing of home keys to Rumah Selangorku purchasers, the Selangor Menteri Besar was cited as saying the aforementioned.

The project’s selling prices ranged from RM114,750 per unit to RM250,000 per unit, and they included the developer’s maintenance expenses for two years as well as legal and memorandum of transfer fees.

Amirudin explained that the state government has entered a new, more sustainable and beneficial age of home building thanks to this new incentive. It is envisaged that it would provide Selangor’s house building industry some positive impetus.

Additionally, 61 projects totaling 16,965 Rumah Selangorku units are now under construction. The remaining projects, however, are still in the planning stage and have not yet received development permission from local authorities and other relevant organisations.
