A new deal from newly founded low-cost airline MYAirline gives consumers who act swiftly 10,000 free seats. The RM0 tickets, which are temporarily available, may only be reserved between January 12 and January 14, 2023, for travel between now and July 31, 2023.
The promotion is valid on all flights on the airline, including those to and from Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Sibu, Kota Bharu, Penang, Langkawi, and Penang. Nevertheless, not all of those locations are now served by MYAirline, and others are only accessible after specific dates.
Such flights include the following:
Kuala Lumpur – Sibu: 18 January 2023
Kuala Lumpur – Tawau: 21 January 2023
Kuala Lumpur – Miri: 1 March 2023
Although the one-way seats themselves are free, keep in mind that the promotion does not cover any relevant expenses such as regulatory service charges, fuel surcharges, airport taxes, or other fees. Additionally, the RM0 seats are not accessible during school breaks, public holidays, or the festive seasons.
If you somehow manage to miss out on one of the 10,000 complimentary seats before they are all taken, the airline is also running another promotion that expires on January 14 and has the same travel dates. According to this specific promotion, one-way fares for flights to one of its Peninsula locations would begin at RM25, while fares for flights to East Malaysia begin at RM31.
For those who completely miss the promotion, MYAirline has been running a different, earlier this week released campaign that will expire on January 19. Flights to Kota Bharu, Langkawi, and Penang begin at RM49 under the MY GREAT SALE promotion. Flights to Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, and Tawau begin at RM89, RM99, and RM129, respectively.
The MY GREAT SALE tickets have a 26 March to 31 July 2023 travel window, thus they are not suitable for individuals who wish to go right away. MYAirline CEO Rayner Teo said last month that the company will ultimately offer flights to Miri, Alor Setar, and Terengganu. Aside from Miri, the commencement date for the two other destinations has not been made public.
