Prime Minister Anwar responds to the crisis
Responding to the crisis, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urged Malaysians to pray for the success of the search and rescue (SAR) mission in Batang Kali.
In a statement, he said he had been briefed on the mission by Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming, Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
“I have ordered the search and rescue mission at Father’s Organic Farm in Jalan Genting-Batang Kali be carried out meticulously and systematically.”
