The ambulance could be seen having its lights and sirens on as it attempts to enter the lane. However, the Singaporean vehicle continued moving forward, blocking the ambulance’s attempt to merge in.

The ambulance driver then had to rise his hand to ask for permission to overtake him, to which the Singaporean vehicle eventually gave in.

The incident is believed to have taken place at 4.37 pm on Wednesday (7 December) on Johor heading towards the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) Complex.

Meanwhile, Raub has advised road users to stay abide by the rules and this includes giving way to the authorities carrying out emergency duties such as ambulances, firemen or police. He added that obstructing emergency vehicles could warrant an investigation in accordance with the Road Transport Act 1987.
