From November 17 to November 19, approximately 1.9 million vehicles are anticipated on PLUS highways.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has issued a time travel advisory (TTA) for voters who will be going back to their hometown to cast their ballots on 19 November
Chief operating officer (COO) Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi advised entering the highway before 10am if you intend to travel from the Klang Valley to Perlis, Kedah, Penang, northern Perak, or Johor between November 16 and November 21, according to Free Malaysia Today.
“Motorists heading towards other states should enter the highway between 1pm and 4pm,” he said in a statement.
Zakaria said that PLUS will temporarily cease all upkeep, renovation, and building activities on the roadways it manages in addition to stepping up its highway operations.
“A total of 200 PLUSRonda units will patrol the highways daily, meanwhile, 1,500 personnel will be stationed at toll plazas.”
From November 17 to November 19, according to Zakaria, 1.9 million vehicles are anticipated to be on the roads.
Additionally, he suggested that drivers plan their route to account for the anticipated increase in traffic and travel time at this time.
