A marathon usually runs up to several kilometres and it is one of the most tiring sports. In addition, one would require months of training before one could prepare themselves to join one.

While most think that such strenuous sport is not suitable for the senior citizen, this 88-year-old Malaysian has proved to everyone that age is not a limiting factor.

The annual PJ Half Marathon that was held on last Sunday (25 September) at Dataran Petaling Jaya, Selangor, featured a variety of race distances including 3km, 10km, 21km and 30km.
