The new iPhone 14 series will be available starting this Friday for those who have been waiting to get one.
The Malaysian market will have access to all four of Apple’s models, which were introduced earlier this month. The new iPhone 14 Ultra won’t be released until Oct. 7, 2022, while the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available starting on September 23, 2022.
Apple has made various modifications, especially to the Pro series, which has 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes, for the first time after keeping to the same characteristics for years, like the notch and a 12MP camera standard.
By adding a new flexible “pill-like” feature called the Dynamic Island, the business has totally shifted the notch on its iPhone Pro series.
The TrueDepth camera has been modified to use less screen space since the release of the Dynamic Island. The Dynamic Island keeps the screen in an active state without interfering with content so that users may access controls with just a tap and hold.
The Dynamic Island in iOS 16 can be used by third-party apps that offer information like sports scores and ride-sharing with Live Activities while keeping running background activities like Maps, Music, or a timer visible and interactive.
The Pro series also receives a camera upgrade with the addition of a massive 48MP Main camera with a quad-pixel sensor in addition to the Dynamic Island. The new 48MP sensor will be able to push the limits of what is possible on a smartphone, enabling users, both casual and professional, to record the best images and videos, even while the 12MP camera is still enough for mobile photography.
The Plus (which replaces the iPhone Mini) has a new 6.7-inch display, while the entry-level iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen size.
The sleek and sturdy aerospace-grade aluminium designs of both phones come in five exquisite finishes. The iPhone 14 Plus has the best battery life of any iPhone ever, and its larger display is fantastic for watching movies and playing games.
Both models include stunning Super Retina XDR displays with OLED technology that enable 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and Dolby Vision, as well as an improved internal architecture for greater thermal performance.
New safety features across the board in the iPhone 14 lineup can deliver emergency assistance when it matters the most. With a new high dynamic range gyroscope and dual-core accelerometer that can detect G-force measurements of up to 256Gs, Crash Detection on the iPhone can now identify a serious auto accident and quickly contact emergency services when a user is unconscious or unable to reach their iPhone.
All authorised Apple retailers and telco partners will sell the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max starting at RM4,199, RM4,699, RM5,299, and RM5,799, respectively.
As for now, you can pre-order iPhone 14 from here.
