Although most drivers rely on the Global Positioning System (GPS) for navigation, people sometimes do rely on signboards to confirm that they are heading to the right junction, especially in a complicated road system.
However, a signboard on the newly opened SUKE highway has recently gone viral online and become the mouthpiece of netizens for being too small to be seen.
In a video posted by TikTok user @jeppwaksalam, the tiny signboard could be seen at the split in the highway, indicating where the split road leads to.
Unfortunately, the words on the signboard were so small that motorists can only see it once they’ve come close enough, after they’ve picked the road.
If you squint your eyes enough, you’ll barely see that the road going left heads to Hulu Langat, while the road heading right leads towards Tasik Tambahan Ampang and Jalan Taman Putra.
In the comment section, there was a mixed reaction from netizens, with some poking fun at the developer, saying that they got their degree online.
“They ordered it from Shopee. What arrived is different in size from what they had ordered,” a netizen said.
“They don’t have budget, bro. Hahaha,” another netizen said.
Meanwhile, some pointed out that this could be the work of cronies who have pocketed most of the budget, leaving only that much for the small signboard.
“How many billions did they allocate for the manufacture of the signboards?” a netizen asked.
Let’s hope that the developers will fix this issue before it causes a huge trouble to motorists. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts!
