Several netizens advised the user to seek medical attention as she might be suffering from a condition known as Pica disorder.

What is Pica disorder?

According to health and wellness portal Healthline, Pica disorder is form of eating disorder where one “compulsively eat items that have no nutritional value”.

A person with pica might eat relatively harmless items, such as ice. Or they might eat potentially dangerous items, likes flakes of dried paint or pieces of metal.

However, there is no single cause of pica but experts believe that the unusual cravings may be a sign that your body is trying to replenish low nutrient levels. Some believed that it is a certain mental health condition.
