Meanwhile, users are also encouraged to visit the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 website for the latest guidelines on booster dose administration.
However, MySejatera said only the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be administered for second booster jabs at the moment.
It did not mention when, or if, other vaccine brands will be made available in the future.
Earlier this month, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin warned Malaysians of a new wave of Covid-19 infection is expected to occur in the country earlier than expected.
To ensure the people’s wellbeing, Khairy encouraged Malaysians, especially the high-risk groups, to get their second booster dose.
Previously, only those aged 60 and above, individuals with comorbidities, those living at long-term care facilities, frontliners, and outbound travellers were allowed to get the secondary booster jab.
Earlier, Khairy also announced the latest update to the MySejahtera application to expand the second booster programme to those aged between 50 and 59.
