It seems that our current Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri is not of the people’s liking.
Recently, the Prime Minister went to greet the players of Harimau Malaya on the Stadium Bukit Jalil field following their win against Bangladesh in the Asian Cup Qualification match on Tuesday (14 June).
However, the football fans started boo-ing at him from the stands as greet the players from the national team.

Alhamdulillah, penantian 43 tahun berakhir apabila kita layak ke Piala Asia 2023!

In a video that was shared on the Prime Minister’s official Twitter page, a little of the boo-ing can be heard in the background when he was shaking hands with the players after the match.
“History is made for Malaysia! Alhamdulillah, the 43-year wait is over when we qualified for the 2023 Asian Cup! Congratulations to Harimau Malaya and the players who fought until the final whistle.” he wrote in the tweet.

Mael dan Peja sama dibenci
However, netizens were quick to pick up the weird cut in the video where the boo-ing could be heard in the background before it was apparently edited out.
“There are so many cuts in the video. Almost like an action movie. Did you get boo-ed,” asked a netizen.
“Did you get boo-ed? There are not enough edits, you can still hear a little bit of it.” said another netizen.
Nonetheless, Ismail Sabri was not the only one that the football fans who attended the qualifier match dislike. One netizen shared a picture of fans holding a banner in the stadium as they call out to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Faizal Azumu to stop getting high from sniffing glue.
It is believed that the fans are referring to Faizal’s recent statement that says loud cheers from the fans causes players to lose their focus, thus leading to the national team’s loss.
