Social media influencers are known for doing anything just to make content that gains the attention of the public. While some make questionable prank videos, some may start a drama by accusing others of all sorts of reasons.
Recently, a local influencer Aisar Khaled, who has built himself quite a reputation, has hit the headlines for making a dangerous act while being on the streets.
In a video shared by TikTok user @maderbell93, it showed the influencer filming a video in the middle of a road in Bukit Bintang, right in front of the McDonald’s and Lot 10.
In the caption, the user wrote, “You can make content in the middle of the road now? Is this what being a influencer is about?”
The local influencer can be seen dressed nicely in a red suit while walking down the pedestrian crossing before tripping over in the middle of the crossing. However, he appeared to be holding something in his hands when he was still down on one knee.
Later when he get back on his feet and continue crossing the zebra line, cars can be heard pressing on the honk.
On the following day, Aisar posted the video where he and his friends took the shot on the road. The Instagram post was apparently a fashion montage video where he shows off different looks and asked his followers in the captions, “Which outfit is your favourite?”
With the “behind-the-scenes” video going viral, many netizens went to the comment section on both the TikTok video and Aisar’s Reels video to question his decision to film in the middle of a busy road.
Netizens also pointed out that this does not only put himself at danger, but other road users as well.
Meanwhile, the local influencer has yet to respond to this matter after receiving backlash for his recent video. It is also unknown if the local authorities were made aware of this.
