As we all know, motorcyclists do not have to pay for tolls on the expressway and there’s a special lane designated for them, prepared by the authorities.
However, some motorcyclists would still prefer to pass through the main road where the toll barriers are.
In a viral video shared on the 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page, it showed a motorcyclist dashing through the toll booth right after the driver pays for the toll.
Following that, the boom gate closed before the driver could proceed with their journey.
Such a incident would definitely make anybody’s blood boil. Imagine having to pay for the toll and then going through the hassle to explain the staff and getting them to open the gate.
In the comment section, netizens expressed a similar sentiment and pointed out that the designated lane is right next to the toll booth.
“This is so so stupid, there is his free lane but he doesn’t want to use it. Inconveniencing others.” a netizen commented.
“The motorcyclist’s actions are so irritating. Right next to it is the motorcycle lane that doesn’t require payment but he doesn’t want to use it. Really inconveniencing other road users. I cannot hold back my anger, sorry.” another netizen commented.
We hope that the authorities would take action against motorcyclists who cause such trouble to drivers.
