Recently, a Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight failed to take off due to its faulty air conditioning. The passengers who were on board are not accepting this, which then led to a noisy protest.
The incident was then brought to light by TikTok user @babahnadeen,as he recorded the inflight experience and share on social media to complain about the air conditioning issue.
The user said MAS should have changed the plane immediately instead of letting the passengers suffocate.
In the video, it can be seen that passengers on the flight were suffering from the heat and children can be heard crying. In addition to the faulty air conditioners, the flight was delayed for 2 hours, pushing passengers’ frustrations even further.
In the video, the flight crew can be seen promising that the air conditioning would eventually start working but it did not.
Passengers even started fanning themselves with the in-flight magazines and aircraft safety cards. One passenger even called out the flight crew for the lousy service by MAS.
In a follow-up video, the user shared that they have been informed that the flight was delayed due to technical issues. He also said that the flight crew should have done this earlier and prioritised the passengers.
He then advised MAS to think of the passengers, whose children are sweating and crying from the heat. He said they should’ve evacuated the passengers back into the airport while they deal with the issue.

Meanwhile, there were other videos posted on social media where the other MAS passengers complained about the AC malfunctioning.
According to the postings, the aircraft was supposed to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan, Sabah.
At the time of writing, MAS has not released an official statement to address the viral videos but netizens have been bombarding their social media pages in the comment sections, demanding an explanation and better services.
