Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has previously promised to launch a new TnG card that will allow reloads to be done via smartphones.
It appears that the new NFC-enabled TnG cards will soon be available to Malaysians as 4 videos of it were uploaded to their YouTube channel.
According to the series of videos, the new card is called Enhanced Touch ‘n Go Card and it gets a new clean look with an NFC icon on the top corner.

Earlier this year, TnG said users will need to purchase a new card to enjoy this eWallet reload feature. Nonetheless, this new card will still has has its own physical card balance which is separate from your TnG eWallet.
As shown in the video, users can order the Enhanced Touch ‘n Go Card directly from the TNG eWallet app just like ordering an RFID Tag. It is believed that the card will cost RM10 excluding shipping fees.

After receiving the physical card, you will need to link it to your eWallet. This will then allow you to view the card’s actual balance and perform reloads. If you wanted to reload the card, you will need to “top-up” using your eWallet balance and place the Enhanced TNG Card at the back of your phone for 5 seconds.
Nonetheless, this NFC top-up feature will require an NFC-enabled smartphone. It will also work for both iOS and Android devices. With this new card, you can reload anytime and anywhere with zero fees!

However, the videos were soon taken down by TnG but we believe that the launch should be right around the corner.
Other than the Enhanced TnG card, TnG is also introducing its Visa prepaid card and it is expected to be able to linked directly to the eWallet, similar to BigPay and Maybank MAE.
Earlier this month, the company has been also rolled out the GoPinjam feature, a digital personal loan product, as well as the ability to transfer funds instantly to other bank accounts via DuitNow.
