Crypto.com is expanding its exposure into Malaysian Market

Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange app based in Singapore, appears to be expanding its workforce into Malaysia.

The company has recently put up vacancies for several full-time positions via business and employment-oriented online service LinkedIn, with the latest entry published days ago.

For the uninitiated, Crypto.com’s app serves as a one stop platform where users can buy and sell, as well as access, manage and spend different cryptocurrencies. The company also offers Visa prepaid cards of varying tiers which lets users spend their cryptocurrency under the company’s own CRO native token.

Besides, it recently opened up its own NFT marketplace via its official website as well, which allows users to buy, sell and showcase their artworks.

Among those available is a General Manager position, who will plan for the company’s market strategy, introduction, marketing and so on. Besides that, Crypto.com is also seeking individuals for management-based roles under its talent acquisition, creative growth, android app development and more.

It’s also worth mentioning that most of the positions are listed as remote jobs, implying that those filling up these vacancies will be working independently. Despite its expansion to Malaysia, it is still not known whether the company plans to open up a local office any time soon.

Crypto.com’s entry to the local scene will eventually see it compete against other digital assets exchanges that have already established a foothold in Malaysia. These include companies and apps such as Luno, SINEGY and others.
