New dates of SPM examination for students who missed exams due to floods and Covid-19

The Education Ministry has announced the new dates in the second session for SPM candidates who have missed their exams due to unforeseen circumstances.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates who missed their examinations due to Covid-19, the recent floods, and special cases approved by the Examination Director can now sit for the exams in the second season in April and May.

The second session will be conducted between 5 April and 19 May 2022. The written tests will be held for 15 days from 11 April to 18 May 2022.

Students who missed their oral, listening and practical science tests are included in the second session as well.

The dates for the tests are as follows:

  • Oral test for Bahasa Melayu – 5 April
  • Oral test for English – 6 April
  • Listening test for Bahasa Melayu and English – 7 April in the morning.
  • The International Language Achievement Test (UPBA) – 7 April in the evening.
  • Practical science test – 19 May

The Examination Board (EB) reminds SPM candidates to check, confirm and print out their Examination Registration Statement which contains designated examination centre information, date, time, code and examination papers from 1 April.

They should also bring their identity documents and a printed Examination Registration Statement to the examination centre.

All information can be obtained via https://elp.moe.gov.my/ or through the e-Lembaga Peperiksaan mobile app which can be downloaded through the Google Play Store.

Candidates can download the SPM 2021 examination timetable and instructions for the second session from EB’s official portal at http://lp.moe.gov.my/.
