Watch: Car convoy works together to stop escaping 4WD, netizens have divided opinions

There are several things that we should take note of while we are driving on the road, as safety should always be our utmost priority while on the road.

Recently, a viral video on TikTok showed how a convoy of luxury cars worked together to corner an escaping four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle that is driving dangerously on the expressway.

The caption on the video said the 4WD driver had hit one of the cars from the convoy and the other drivers are now stopping him to bring him to “justice”.

Another video on TikTok showed the convoy managed to block off the entire expressway and the group came down from their cars to have talks with the 4WD driver.

Netizens had divided opinions on this matter with some supporting the convoy for stopping the 4WD driver who is driving dangerously, while the others criticised the group for taking things into their own hands.

“You guys are super easy in judging people without knowing the full facts. They actually stopped a drunken 4WD driver who drove dangerously hitting one of the supercars and endangering other road users. They were doing a good deed to save other road users.” a netizen said.

On contrary, some slammed the convoy for hogging the entire expressway for their selfish aims.

“I don’t care if the 4WD is fucking drunk in the day, I don’t care if the 4WD hits your fucking Lambos. I only see a bunch of “super-car” no brainers fucking blocking the entire highway.” a netizen said.

“Nowadays, a lot rich car or motorbike club drive at highways without following the rule of highways. Please take action against those who break the law.” another netizen said.

Some even praised the 4WD driver for having the courage to go against the convoy too.

In the meantime, we do not know who was at fault but instead of taking matters into our own hands, maybe it is best to leave it to the police.
