The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination is a huge deal for secondary school students and it is definitely worth celebrating after the end of the examination.

Some would chose to celebrate their freedom with going out for lunch at a restaurant, while some may go on playing for the entire day. Nonetheless, students can do whatever they want before moving on to the next step of adulthood.

However, a group of students had gone overboard with celebrating their newfound freedom. TikTok user @akubudakkluang has recently posted a video, showing how a group of secondary school students riding their motorcycles in convoys and being chased by the authorities.

The incident was reported to have taken place in Jalan Lingkaran Tengah, Kluang and the students are believed to have just finished their SPM exams and was their way of celebrating.

According to Sinar Harian, District Deputy Chief of Police, Deputy Superintendent Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani said the police are aware of the situation and had taken immediate action.

He said that the police have identified some of these students involved and they will conduct further investigations.

“The case is being investigated under Section 42 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving,” he said.

He then advised all road users to abide by traffic rules and regulations to ensure the safety of other users and prevent accidents.
