Man caught red-handed sniffing resident’s undergarment by resident on a flat on Jalan Klang Lama

A 62-year-old man has been arrested for sniffing a resident’s undergarment while acting indecently with it in Kuala Lumpur.

His act was captured in a video by a resident in a Sri Sentosa flat on Jalan Klang Lama.

In the video, he is seen sniffing and biting the undergarment while moving one of his hands around his lower body area.

Upon seeing the indecent act, the resident, who is filming it, calls him out for it. “What are you doing?” asks the resident.

After being noticed, the man quickly gets on a motorcycle across a drain before leaving the scene.

After the video went viral on Facebook and Twitter, the police managed to arrest the suspect.

The resident who witnessed the act informed the owner of the clothes, who then lodged a police report on the matter.

Following that, a police team from the Brickfields’ crime investigation department (CID) traced the man and arrested him in Puchong, Selangor.

Brickfields police chief ACP Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the suspect will be remanded for investigations.

He will be investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting the modesty and intruding upon the privacy of a person, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act for using insulting or indecent words, language, or gestures to provoke someone.

If convicted, the man will face up to five years’ jail and a fine under the first offence, as well as a fine of not more than RM100 under the second offence.
