M’sian YouTuber wanted by police after breaking in to Sunway Lagoon

A Malaysian YouTuber and 2 other men are being hunted by the police for breaking into Sunway Lagoon theme park and uploaded a video about their endeavours on Youtube.

However, the video on YouTube has been taken down by the YouTuber at the time of writing.

According to FMT, Subang Jaya police chief assistant commissioner Abd Khalid Othman said a Sunway Lagoon employee realized the break-in only after seeing the video uploaded by a YouTube channel, Ryaan Key.

Meanwhile, Sinar Harian reported that the video detailed how the trio managed to get into Sunway Lagoon illegally.

It is believed that they jumped from the wall at Surf Beach into the pool of water and threw a smartphone into the theme park area.

After which, they lied to a Sunway Lagoon employee and said they left their phone in the theme park.

The employees then allowed them in to search for their phones, but they went missing after they were let into the theme park to collect their phones.

Abd Khalid said the case is investigated under Section 448 of the Penal Code for trespassing and Section 233 of Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

He also urged those with information regarding the identity of the YouTuber to come forward and share them with the police at 03-5621 0343.
