Despite all the claims and evidence of the money being in his own personal account, the Security Commissions Malaysia (SC) had in a statement on 19 January announced that there is nothing to be investigated and that he did not go against any laws.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri then urged the people to respect the SC’s decision.

However, the people are not accepting this explanation and demand the investigations to continue.

Lembah Pantai MP, Fahmi Fadzil was one of them who were against Azam Baki and he recently tweeted a picture that showed several politicians holding a satirical banner of a banknote along with the text, “The Republic of Azam”.

They demanded justice and called for Azam Baki to step down as the MACC Chief.

Surprisingly, the official SPRM Twitter account retweeted the tweet!

Everybody on social media was shocked by that and Fahmi Fadzil himself caught SPRM retweeting his tweet before it was pulled back.

“The battle is joined. #UndurAzam.” he wrote in another tweet.

Meanwhile, netizens were surprised by that move and some said that the statement by SPRM previously does not represent the whole SPRM.

On the other hand, netizens hope the best for SPRM’s Twitter account admin and salute the admin, saying that the admin still has integrity.

“SPRM admin’s little brother was the one who retweeted it,” another netizen said sarcastically.
