Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Azam Baki has recently found himself in hot waters after a whistleblower called for an investigation over Azam’s alleged corrupted practice.

Despite calls for the MACC chief to step down and assist with the investigations, Azam Baki insisted that he will not do so, and only the King has the power to ask him to resign.

On Friday (14 January), there were reports that a rally will be held in Kuala Lumpur to push for the MACC Chief Commissioner’s resignation.
