Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun has recently come into the limelight after her controversial publicity stunts since the massive flood landed in several parts of the country.
After rounds of criticisms by netizens on social media, some have gone one step further to express their displeasure with her online, by changing her Wikipedia page to contain insults.
For the past few days, Rina Harun’s name on Wikipedia was being changed continuously, ranging from explicit slurs to references to her “love” for water jets.
This comes after Rina came under fire for using a water jet to wash an already clean corridor at a flood-relief center while surrounded by photographers.
Most netizens said that it was only a publicity stunt and Rina was not actually there to provide real aid to flood victims.

However, it seems that netizens had gone overboard for changing Rina Harun’s name on Wikipedia to contain insults. Some netizens said such behaviour is cyberbullying and others should refrain from doing so.
We understand that people are angry towards her performance as a minister, but we should criticise only on her acts and not on her personally.
This is literally a sexual harrasment, sex jokes. Idk yall. Yall can be better than this.— 💙 (@zahiahusna) December 27, 2021
“We are better than this. We are way above this,” one netizen said.
Meanwhile, Rina Harun’s Wikipedia page has return to normal at the time of writing.
