The Merdeka 118 was recently being announced as the world’s second tallest building after the completion of its tower spire.
It has a staggering height of 678.9 meters tall and despite it’s unbelievable height, people still managed to vandalise this building!
In a tweet by @SkyscraperMY, where the user had shared 2 pictures of Merdeka 118, it was revealed that there were scribbles and writings on top of the building!

“Vandalism seen on top of the second tallest building in the world… Seems like the birds did it.” the user wrote in the caption.
It is not sure who had the courage to climb up to such heights to vandalise it, but it is believed that the scribbling were done by the workers who worked atop the building.
The tweet went viral on Twitter in just a few days and has garnered over 2,000 retweets and 3,900 likes at the time of writing, and netizens were pretty much impressed by it.
“It’s ok. It’s the workers pleasant memories.” a netizen said.
“Can this be recorded in the Malaysian Book of Records? “Tallest vandalism in Malaysia”” another netizen wrote.
Netizens also pointed out that how they are not even mad at it and said the workers should leave marks because they were the ones who worked hard to build it.
The best part of it is that nobody will see it as there are no other buildings taller than it around.
Some said it is like some sort of signature after all their hardwork. Some names can be spotted in the photo too!
