Despite being slapped with a RM3,000 fine for not wearing a mask in the public, KLCC “Karen” is once again back in action!
Recently, she was being spotted again in the public area, and you’ve guessed it, without a mask.
The post was originally uploaded to Twitter by a netizen on 10 November, but it has since been taken down.
In the tweet, the netizen wrote “Also, what happens when you’ve already been fined once and yet continue to disregard the SOPs in Bangsar and Damas? Why is she exempt from the same rules that applies to every other person?”
However, other netizens managed to get a copy of the video and it was being shared on Facebook now.
Meanwhile, in this particular Facebook post, the user said “Karen” or Kerry Anita Harrison is also the director of Forestry Timber Resources. However, they did not disclose the location of the incident, thus it is unclear where she was being spotted.
Previously, Kerry came under the spotlight after she was being refused entry to Dior boutique in Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) for not wearing a mask.
The incident went viral and it even caught the attention of the Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, where he had reminded everybody to adhere to the rules in the country they are currently in, regardless of where they are from.
She was then slapped with a fine of RM3,000 and she later shared her view on human rights through a video posted on Twitter.
Despite life in Malaysia gradually returning to normal, the Health Ministry often reminded the citizens to comply with the SOPs to prevent another Covid-19 outbreak.
