Julau Member of Parliament, Larry Sng has been appointed as the new Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) chairman yesterday (25 October).
While social media flooded with congratulatory messages, there were some who criticize him for the controversial appointment.

In one of the tweet, the President of Parti Aspirasi Sains Malaysia, Kenneth Chai had listed out the positions he held, as well his association with the different political parties at different point in time.
In an apparent burst of emotion, Larry Sng fired at him with a barrage of “burn in hell” for pointing out his history of party hopping.

Following the incident, the former PKR chief had deleted the reply and deactivated his Twitter account.
However, netizens still managed to capture a screenshot of the interaction and made it viral on social media.
Back in February, Larry had left PKR and pledged his support for the Muhyiddin-led Perikatan Nasional administration, saying that he is looking for a stable government and that he want to contribute to it.
