JobStreet Malaysia is bringing back the Virtual Career Fair (VCF) this year and they’ve promised to bring more excitement for all the job seekers out there!
The upcoming VCF is said to start from 14 October and it will last for 3 days, until it officially closes on 16 October. The event will specifically focus on 4 key areas of specialisations, including Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Business Development and Information Technology.
JobStreet’s Managing Director, Vic Sithasanan said the upcoming VCF is aimed at helping jobseekers future-proof their careers with in-demand roles, as well as to connect them with employers who are seeking to boost their organisation’s growth by hiring at VCF.
“The employment market is on the road to recovery as the economy begins to progressively open up again due to the national vaccination programme,”
“As such, we are seeing much greater demand from both sides: Job seekers seeking employment, and organisations looking to build strong and resilient teams.” he said.
Similar to physical career fairs, the VCF will include “live interactions” such as on-the-spot interviews with participating employers and career coaches. Nonetheless, these interactions are all kept online.
Meanwhile, the VCF will also let you access to some tools which will definitely be handy to you. They include artificial intelligence (AI) resume builder, an interview practice tool, a cover letter builder and a salary calculator tool.
According to the latest information from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), the employment market had indicated a recovery with more economic and social activity allowed to operate, particularly since the start of the second-quarter of 2021.
