Yesterday (26 September), several areas in Shah Alam, Selangor were badly hit by flash floods after a massive downpour landed in the area.
The massive downpour lasted for few hours since 3 p.m. which then caused the flash flood in the area.
Some road users, who were on their cars, motorcycles or even buses have decided to turn back after they failed to pass through the flooded area.

Meanwhile, residents around Shah Alam had took to social media to share the situation of flash floods, as they upload pictures of the scene after heavy rain which lasted for several hours.
On the other hand, the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) also received reports that several areas around Section 13, Stadium Shah Alam had experience massive flash floods, where the water level went up to 1.2 metres.
“The team from the Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the location found a vehicle stranded in the flood in the area.
“However, the driver has come out to save himself.” the Director of JBPM, Norazam Khamis said, as reported by Harian Metro.


Norazam added that his department noticed that the floods in the several locations around Section 13 had begun to subside, but they are still monitoring the situation and obtaining information on the incident.
Apart from Section 13, residents around Section 9, Section 10, Section 4, Section 7 also shared the flash flood situation near their homes and locations.
