The woman faced an anxious moment when the car was driven upside down due to being hit by a Lamborghini luxury car that lost control in Jalan Tun Razak, today.
In the incident at 8.40am, the 42-year-old Lamborghini driver was on his way from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Pahang Roundabout.
Head of the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, Assistant Commissioner Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said, however, once at Jalan Tun Razak, the driver who was driving at high speed was shocked due to traffic congestion on the road.
“As a result, the driven vehicle lost control before colliding with several cars including a Proton Perdana driven by a 53-year-old woman until it overturned.
Several other vehicles were also crashed causing damage.
“All the drivers involved in the accident suffered only minor injuries and sought treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL),” he said in a statement today.
According to him, the urine and alcohol test screening done on the driver found that he was negative for the use of prohibited substances.
He said the case was investigated in accordance with Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
