Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday (2 August) that Perlis, Sarawak and Labuan will be moving forward to the Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), comes the biggest flex for Malaysians in 2021 too!
Recently, a netizen from Perlis took it to Twitter to share his first dine-in experience at a restaurant in Perlis after being forced to stay at home for over 2 months because of the Movement Control Order (MCO) that began since 1 June.
The Tweet went viral and has garnered over 20,000 likes and 15,000 retweets at the time of writing.
In the Tweet, the netizen wrote “Salam dine-in from Perlis” or “Greetings, dine-in from Perlis”

As of now, Perlis is one of the only 3 states and federal territories in Malaysia that allow dine-in.
Meanwhile, the netizen in a separate Tweet wrote “Honestly, this is for all the years I’ve heard ‘You live in Perlis but what do you do? There’s nothing there.'”
At the same time, he also wished that Malaysia will get well soon and we can once again dine-in together.
Nonetheless, his Tweet left the rest of the Malaysian netizens salivating with envy.
“This is how people flex in 2021. Hahaha.” a netizen commented.
“Don’t flex wealth, flex dine-in.” said another.

On the other hand, another netizen, believed to be at the scene shared another picture of the netizen drinking an iced drink and throwing up a peace sign at the restaurant. The netizen captioned “Member happy.”
Meanwhile, Selangorian is still recording the highest number of daily Covid-19 cases at the moment and it does not seems that the other states are moving forward to the next Phase anytime soon.
