A 60 year-old man in Rawang was arrested by the police officers yesterday (28 July) morning after he was caught having unnatural sex with a goat, which it had died during the incident in Kampung Sungai Buaya, Serendah.
According to Astro Awani, the owner of the goat said she heard strange sounds coming from her goat at the back of her house and went out to check on what had happened.
Upon checking, she discovered that a half-naked man getting up beside her goat before he flees from the scene. Nonetheless, she was able to recognise him as an acquaintance.
The owner of the goat then checked the condition of the goat and she found out that the animal had died. She then lodged a police report at the Serendah Police Station later that day.
Meanwhile, Hulu Selangor police chief, Supt Arsad Kamaruddin confirmed the report being lodged and his department had managed to arrest the suspect on Wednesday morning (28 July) and will be remanded until Thursday (29 July).
“A police team from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hulu Selangor IPD later managed to detain the suspect hiding in a bush in Jalan Tengah, Kampung Sungai Buaya Serendah, at about 10.50 this morning.”
“Preliminary checks found that the 60 year-old man had a previous criminal record.” he said.
Nonetheless, he mentioned that the suspect will be taken to the Kuala Kubu Bharu Sessions Court on Thursday (29 July) and the case will be investigated under Section 377 and Section 289 of the Penal Code.
“A team of members from the Selangor Police Forensic Unit and the Kuala Kubu Bharu Veterinary Department also went to the scene to conduct an investigation.” Arsad said, cited by Berita Harian.
“The goat’s carcass was sent to the Veterinary Department’s laboratory for analysis and autopsy.” he added.
Arsad also took the opportunity to urge the public to provide any information related to crime and drugs to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) so that the police officers can take immediate action and nab those involved.
