Eight individuals including a police station chief (OCS), 3 policemen and 4 women were arrested yesterday (20 July) after they were caught having a wild party in a police station in the Kajang district.
According to Berita Harian, the station chief was a sub-inspector while the 3 policemen are of corporal and lance corporal rankings. On the other hand, the women were civilians aged between 21 to 37.
The party held in a “special room” at the police station was busted by Bukit Aman’s integrity and standard compliance department (JIPS) after they conducted a raid at the location at 6 p.m. yesterday following a tip-off.

During the raid, Bukit Aman found the suspects dancing and singing in the “special room” located on the second floor of the station. It is believed that they have consumed alcohol and ketum water.
Nonetheless, the report from Bukit Aman said that the room was furnished with spinning lights to replicate a disco-like atmosphere. The items seized in the raid includes bottles of alcohol, a loudspeaker, an audio system, a recorder, microphones and a TV.
In addition, 5 bottles of ketum water and pornographic pictures of one of the policemen with a woman were being confiscated too.
JIPS director, Azri Ahmad confirms the arrest and he said the group had also breached Covid-19 SOPs for organising social events.
He said investigations were being conducted under Section 269 of the Penal Code for committing a negligent act likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life. If found guilty, they can be jailed for up to six months or fined, or both.
