Responding to the recent ’empty syringe’ cases, the Health Minister, Datuk Seri Adham Baba said that those who are proven to be given the ’empty syringes’ will be called in to be given a proper dose.
According to Berita Harian, the Health Minister said that the Ministry would contact the individuals concerned to receive their vaccines again.
“They will be called in for an injection again.” he said in a brief message through WhatsApp.

This comes after several individuals who recorded themselves during the vaccination process and claimed that they were not given any Covid-19 vaccine.
There were several cases that went circulated on social media, each happening at different vaccination centres (PPV) and at different time.
According to The Star, the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) said that they are currently working with the authorities to investigate the alleged wrongdoings during vaccinations under the immunisation programme.
They also said that they will not hesitate to terminate the personnel if they were found to be involved in misconduct.
As of now, the CITF is investigating the 2 reports of empty syringes incidents happening at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) on 17 July and Bangi Avenue Convention Centre on 18 July.
