Quarantine centres (PPV) across the nation had been running out of bed space as the Covid-19 situation in Malaysia worsens. Nonetheless, being admitted to a PPV could be boring as there is nothing much you can do there, apart from eat, sleep, relax and play games.
Recently, a short clip showing a group of foreign workers partying in a PPV went viral on social media.
In the 43-second clip, the foreign workers can be seen dancing in a group to a Hindustani song blaring in the background.

Despite the positive vibes it sends, netizens were not impressed by the act and they expressed their frustration in the comment section. Netizens claimed that these irresponsible people are the reason for the daily Covid-19 cases remained in the thousands and are still surging.
Meanwhile, netizens speculated that the video was filmed at a quarantine center in Melaka.
According to Kosmo, Chairman of the State Health and Anti-Drug Committee, Datuk Rahmad Mariman denied the claims, clarifying that the incident did not happened in any PPV in the state.
“Some claimed that it took place at the MITC Low-Risk Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Center (PKRC) Malaysia, Ayer Keroh.”
“We can’t determine the exact location yet.” he said.

Rahmad also reminded the public not to disseminate or share inaccurate information, especially those related to Covid-19.
While netizens were unhappy over the video, there are those who say that it was good to see them being positive during these difficult times.
