Although we are more than 1 year into the Movement Control Order (MCO), there are those who are stubborn and refuse to comply with the SOPs announced by the authorities.

As issuing a fine does not seem to be a significant thing to these people, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers have now gotten creative and conducted an “award ceremony” to issue fines.

When issuing the ticket, the PDRM officers will take photos of the violators and kept the evidence to prevent them from denying that they have violated them.

These photos quickly went viral as netizens find them hilarious. It was as if the PDRM officers were issuing them a certificate for their achievements. There are more to that too.

PDRM officers have been capturing photos of the violators before they walk up to them to “award” them the fine. This prevents them from denying it too.

Some netizens suggested that they should be called up to give a speech when “awarded” the fine and this would complete the ceremony!

Though this may seem funny, it represents that the public’s awareness on the importance of comply with the SOP. Once again, we urge the public to always comply with the SOP as the virus is already in our community.
