A teenager, Nur Elida had been missing since Monday (31 May) and her family members were searching for her desperately.
According to Harian Metro, the teenager went missing after skateboarding at the park near her home. She was later found at her boyfriend’s house in Padang Jawa today (4 June) morning.
Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Baharudin Mat Taib said a report was lodged by her father, Mohd Rushdan Mohamad Yusof after he notice that her daughter did not return home as usual. The Shah Alam District Police Headquarters (IPD) had classified the teenager as a missing person and had launched an operation to track the girl’s whereabouts around Shah Alam.
“Around 4am today, 4 June, we managed to locate the 15-year-old at a condominium in Padang Jawa” he said.
“The girl was found in good condition and police found her sitting with her boyfriend at the man’s rental home,” he added.
Meanwhile, the girl’s father had lodged a report against the 19-year-old boyfriend, claiming that he had raped the underaged teen. Responding to the claims, Baharuddin said that the 19-year-old boyfriend was arrested at his home to assist in the investigation.
“Her boyfriend has been detained for remand and the police will continue further investigations. He is being investigated for rape under Section 376 of the Penal Code,” he said.
