In conjuction to the release of the McDonald’s x BTS meal, Malaysian BTS fans (AMRY) had donated 99 sets of the meal box to frontliners at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) last Saturday (29 May).
The initiative was introduced by BTS fan account @PurpleProject7, as a token of appreciation for their contributions ever since the pandemic started in Malaysia.
“BTS Meal for frontliners by Malaysian ARMYs. 99 sets of BTS Meal given to our amazing frontliners at UMMC today. Thank you so much superheroes for your hardwork,” they share in a Twitter post.
In addition, they ordered an addition 25 sets of the meal box for the children’s ward in Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM), hoping these nuggets will cheer them up!
The fanpage even thanked McDonald’s Malaysia and their amazing crew for their wonderful service and for making this initiative a success.
Lastly, the fanpage did not forget to show appreciation to the ARMY members who participated in the donation project.
Given the success of this project, @PurpleProject7 said that they will be organising another delivery to Malaysian Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) today (31 May). Meanwhile, the last batch of the donation will be made probably this Wednesday or Thursday.
