The Movement Control Order (MCO) had disrupted the daily lives of Malaysians, and most importantly the business environment of Malaysia. It is no doubt that it brings back the painful memories if the Government were to reimpose the MCO once again to curb Covid-19 spread.
Recently while Ministry of Health (MOH) was announcing the daily new cases of Covid-19, a netizen replied “If the Government were to announce MCO 3.0, I would slap everybody working with the Government once!”.
Unexpectedly, MOH had retweeted her reply and this reply had caught the attention of the public.
Some netizens could not believe that MOH retweeted this and had asked for a confirmation on whether MOH seriously retweeted this.
Some were frighten when they received this notification and asked whether did the administrator of MOH’s Twitter account had forgot to switch account before they retweeted this.
Whatever it is, we can all feel the fear when the word “MCO” appears and nobody wants it to be back. To prevent the Covid-19 virus from spreading, it is essential that everybody follows the SOP strictly and to reduce unnecessary social activity.
