Ever since the pandemic started, POS Malaysia had suspended their international mailing and parcel delivery service. However, as the situation improves, POS Malaysia eventually resumed their services to Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand starting 1 March 2021.
According to POS Malaysia’s latest announcement, they will be resuming the international mailing service to 46 countries starting 23 April 2021!
In addition, POS Malaysia in the statement also pointed out that customers will have to pay surcharges when mailing to these countries and regions. POS Malaysia explains that their decision to impose a surcharge is to cope with the high cost of commercial air transportation and to pay the coordination fee for the air network.
The statement also pointed out that users can use AsiaXpress’s services in addition to the POS’s international mailing service. AsiaXpress allows people to mail to more than 200 countries around the world.
