A woman who was attempting suicide was rescued by members of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Bomba) on 17 April 2021.
The incident happened in Puchong Jaya Selatan, Bandar Puchong Jaya. According to Director of Selangor Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM), Norazam Khamis, the department received an emergency call 12:18 p.m. and they’ve immediately depart with 3 machinery vehicles.
In the video shared, it is seen that the 2 firefighters were persuading the woman and trying to stop her from jumping from the five-storey high apartment while she was screaming continuously.
Fortunately, she was successfully being rescued by the firefighters. According to China Press, the woman who attempted suicide was a famous Youtuber and Instagram influencer.
The Youtuber had left a message in her Telegram at 11.49 a.m. on 17 April, which is minutes before her attempt. The message said “My sins will only be forgiven if I die, goodbye, for all of you who love me, I wish you all healthy, safe and happy.”
Before the incident happen, her family members also took it to Instagram that due do the issues she is currently facing, she is emotionally unstable. They’ve apologize on her behalf for not replying to many messages related to her work and they will try their best to fix this as soon as possible.
Furthermore, they said “If you have anything, please message to this account, we will reply as soon as we can”.
Our advice is seeking for help is not a sign of weakness! If you or anyone you know who are at risk of committing suicide, please reach out to them!
