These teenagers weren’t so bright for recording themselves physically assaulting a student in front of his school in Johor Bahru. The video recording had since then become evidence of their crimes.

The video went circulating on Facebook after they’ve shared it out. The incident took place on 15 April outside the boy’s school in Taman Daya, Johor Bahru.

In the video, the bully who wore a red T-shit had repeatedly slapping and threatening the 14-year-old student and pushing him towards the drain during the incident. The student had only acted to defend himself and has no intention to retaliate.

According to Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain, the incident could have happened because the victim had purportedly insulted a cousin of one of the suspects.

The suspects hat then confronted the victim and physically assaulted him by repeatly slapping him, saying who does he think he is to insult his cousin.

When the victim asks why does he keep hitting him, the suspect shouted at him saying that he will beat him any ways he wanted and asks him sarcastically on who are you gonna bring to protect yourself.

He then continues to threaten the victim, saying “If you talk like that to my brother again, I’ll cut you up”.

At which point, two other suspects join in and start slapping the boy.

Lodging a police report

After the incident, the police had arrested the five teenagers, aged between 15 and 17 on the next day.

“The five teenagers hit the student several times on the face, causing light injuries,” Mohd Padzli¬†said to Malay Mail. He added that investigation is being carried out under Section 323 for causing hurt and Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.
