Chili’s Malaysia has officially announced that they will be closing their first store in Malaysia at Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) on 31 March 2021.
The Tex-Mex franchise first arrived in Malaysia from Texas 27 years ago in June 1994, and its success led them to open another 12 outlets across Malaysia!
On the Facebook post, many netizens expressed their sadness over the closure of their childhood restaurant.
Facebook user, Harvinder Kaur Dhaliwal, chimed in with praise for the outlet: “Why? Oh, my gosh, I’ve been going to Bangsar outlet for almost two decades. It’s the best outlet with great and warm hospitality.”
Sarvindheran Chelvarajah commented: “My dad used to bring us here when we were kids, when he was able to give us a fancy meal those days. There were so much memories in this place for me and my fam. Sad to see this restaurant go away.”
On Instagram, Nikola Hassan called the outlet “an institution” and added, “that corner will always belong to Chili’s.”
Visit Them By 31st March 2021
Although that there are still 12 outlets remaining, it is the memories made at this specific outlet that saddens us. There’s still time for you to visit the outlet before 31st March to bid your last goodbye!
